OCR316-E, part of HID’s ID document reader portfolio, is a compact USB OCR swipe reader that delivers fast, accurate bidirectional reading of machine-readable passports, visas, US and international resident permits and national ID cards.
The device also integrates a three-track Magnetic Swipe Reader (MSR) to read credit and debit cards, loyalty cards and frequent flyer cards.
The track length and single slot design ensure that passports and ID cards align correctly for consistency and accuracy.
